Press Release: Rab Communications Triples Capacity
with Voiceware Systems
May 24, 2005 (West Palm Beach, Florida) – Voiceware
Systems, known for its award wining Telephony Services Platform (TSP), today
announced a 200 percent expansion to Rab Communications’ platform.
Rab Communications is anticipating a
rapid traffic growth with the deployment of the Remote Callback Triggering
(RCT) nodes in several Middle Eastern countries. The RCT node will be used
as part of a marketing campaign throughout the Middle East and Africa
region where Rab Communications will be selling phone cards that shall be
used for Call Back. The purchaser of the Card will simply call a local
number; the RCT node will capture the Calling Line Information (CLI) and
pass it over the Internet to the TSP server in the United States to be
processed by Rab Communications’ TSP. Their TSP then calls the card
purchaser back at the CLI. When they answer, the TSP requests (in
their language) them to enter the PIN number that is written on the back of
the phone card they just purchased. Calling a local number puts the
purchaser at ease about calling an International phone number. The local
telecom operators charge huge rates for international calls.
The development and deployment of the RCT node is
possible because of the Voiceware Systems’ open architecture platform
design.
“We have worked closely with Rab Communications over
many years and we are excited to be continuing that relationship in order
to help them service their customers more effectively,” said Brian Betron,
President of Voiceware Systems.
“We are honored to be selected once again by Rab
Communications,” said Selbin Ozsamsun, Marketing Director of Voiceware
Systems. “We are dedicated to supporting them in the competitive market.”
“We are delighted to have chosen Voiceware Systems
because of the company's innovative and feature rich platform which fully
meets the needs of our customers,” said Rabih Nachabe, President of Rab Communications.
“We are confident that the new upgrade will deliver benefits to our company
as we are expanding our penetration in the Middle East and Africa markets.”
